Hey All...
As you all know it was the 4th of July weekend this past week and not only did my family come into town but so did Levi's it was a pretty busy week last week...that is for sure. It was a lot of fun. Levi and I got to go swimming over at Athena's house (levi's sister) where we both got a little sunburned. Luckily it turned to a tan the next day (granted a very slight tan which was just another shade of white for me). My family and part of Levi's went to Comedy Sportz which is an impromptu comedy club here in Utah. It was pretty funny and great afterwards as we walked around the Freedom Festival going on.
Blake and Ryker were a ton of fun. Their rolling laughs would cheer anyone up. Ryker was so funny with the fireworks. He would plug his ears but also go ooh...and ahh! Blake loved his sparklers and was so cute being the sweet big brother...most of the time. We went to my grandma's home on Friday to have dinner and Blake thought it was fun doing somersaults on the trampoline. We are inside watching them out the window and all of a sudden both kids are crying. I go out to see what was wrong and Blake was crying because he told Ryker to "get out of his way" while he did his somersaults and he didn't...so he kicked Ryker in the face. Blake thought if he cried too and blamed it on Ryker he wouldn't get in trouble. What he didn't realize is that he wouldn't have gotten in trouble if he wouldn't have tried to blame it all on Ryker. It was pretty funny
My mom, sister, mother in law and I did a 5k run on Saturday. It was my first one. I got 389th place. Doesn't sound great but I was pretty excited. I was running about 8 min. 45 sec mile. Now the decision is...do I do a half marathon with my mom in September??? Decisions, Decisions.
I will try to put pictures up soon!

So...I have never been good at these types of things but I guess we have been told we need to keep some sort of journal and since my journal entries are few and far between...MAYBE this may help.
I think this officially makes me an adult...well besides the whole being married thing. Now hopefully if I keep up with this I may be able to remember the things that happen during our married life.
A few funny stories to start it all off...
When my husband and I were engaged he was living in DC. His lack of work shoes was really quite entertaining as you literally saw them falling apart in front of your eyes. So he went and bought some a few days before I went out and visited him. well, lets just say his feet didn't adjust so well and he had enormous blisters...so instead of using a band-aid of sorts he uses...drum roll please...duct tape. It was the funniest thing as I go out to see him and see duct tape on his foot.
When I was still single I would make dinners for large groups of people once a month (approx. about 15-20). when i didn't do the large dinners I usually made dinner for Levi, his roommates and I. Now that I am married I have not learned my proportions yet and i usually end up making enough food to feed an army...the saddest part, Levi and I don't eat left overs.
Levi and I have different preferences in most things...including air conditioning. I swear he is ALWAYS hot and that means the AC is ALWAYS on and I am therefore AlWAYs cold. So we now take turns on who is comfotable in the house. Luckily I win more often then not.
